Grid slice
Cut a single image into evenly sized pieces that rebuild the full picture when posted in order.
Upload and process
Runs locallyHow to use it
- Pick the layout: 3×3, 2×2, three columns or three rows.
- Optionally add white padding around each piece so the seams read clearly.
- Upload your image.
- Check the preview — the lines show the cuts and the numbers show the upload order.
- Slice and download everything (multiple files arrive as a ZIP).
When this tool helps
Feeds look strongest when one picture spans a 3×3 grid. Doing it by hand is fiddly because the pieces must be exactly equal — a few pixels out and the seams show. This tool cuts on exact pixel boundaries and numbers every piece so they cannot be uploaded out of order. The padding option exists for platforms that shave a few pixels off image edges when displaying.
FAQ
What order are the pieces in?
Left to right, top to bottom — reading order. Filenames carry the number, so uploading in numeric order is correct.
Should I add padding?
Try a few pixels if the platform tends to crop edges. For most feeds no padding is needed.
Does it reduce quality?
No, it only crops. PNG output is lossless; JPG re-encodes once with no visible difference.
Can I split into 4 or 3 pieces?
Yes — 2×2 gives four, 1×3 gives three columns and 3×1 gives three rows.
Is my image uploaded?
No, slicing happens entirely in your browser.
