    How to use it

    1. Pick a direction: vertical for chat logs and photo sets, horizontal for comparisons.
    2. Choose the alignment reference: narrowest, widest, or the first image.
    3. Set the gap in pixels and the background colour; a gap of 0 puts images edge to edge.
    4. Upload your images β€” the list order becomes the stitching order.
    5. Click stitch and download the combined image.

    When this tool helps

Stitching comes up more often than expected: turning ten chat screenshots into one image, assembling product photos into a single sheet, or putting split-screen captures of a long table back together. The awkward part is usually mismatched widths β€” forcing them together stretches some images. Three alignment references solve that, and "narrowest" is the safest default because nothing is cropped; the leftover space is filled with the background colour.

Before stitching chat screenshots, confirm every capture has identical width β€” screenshots from the same phone in the same session usually do, which keeps the seam invisible.

    FAQ

    Which alignment should I choose?

If the widths already match, it makes no difference. Otherwise "narrowest" is safest because nothing is cropped, "widest" enlarges the narrower images (and can soften them), and "first" suits sets where the first image is the reference.

The result is too large β€” what now?

Browsers cap canvas dimensions, and the limits vary. If you see the warning, lower the maximum edge length or stitch in two passes.

    The order is wrong

Clear the list and reselect in the right order; the list order is the stitching order. Phone galleries usually support multi-select in capture order.

    Does it lose quality?

Images are scaled once to the alignment width, which stitching requires, and nothing else is applied. PNG output adds no compression loss.

    Are images uploaded?

No, stitching runs entirely in your browser.
